Ottawa - Found another hidden gem in Ottawa. This resto pub that looks like a wooden cabin has no sign whatsoever to show their visibility, only a 'BAR' neon sign. We hesitated for a moment if we were at the right location. Is it only the locals that frequent this place?
This 3-level little joint serves gourmet burgers and offers a wide selection of fine beers. Everything in the menu is good, no weak point, said the waitress. It seems to be true, maybe because there are bacons in all three dishes that we ordered that makes it irresistibly good. Scallops were seared properly with a flavourful sauce. Burgers are well charred and juicy. Liver and onions blended well with the red wine demi-glace. This is definitely a place that I would recommend.
