Ottawa - A perfect scone is crispy on the exterior, light and fluffy in the interior. You can definitely find these perfect scones at The Scone Witch. Apart from cutting the scones in half and spread it with clotted cream and jam, this place is known for its sconewiches, using savoury scones as the bread. I went there twice. First time around lunchtime, I had a hard time finding a seat as there are only 6 tables. Arrive early if you want to eat there, at least the service is quick. You might be disappointed that you have to pay extra for cream and jam when ordering sweet scone. Highly recommend this place if you love scones.
