Ottawa - Clover Food | Drink is the new player in the Ottawa's food scene serving locally sourced food on Bank St. The menu is limited to a few options which are simple and light. It serves lunch everyday, and only open for dinner on Fridays and Saturdays.

I ordered the grilled chicken wrap. It has a good punch of flavours the moment I bite into it - moist flavourful chicken elevated by the sweetness of the roasted sweet potatoes, and some vegetables for contrast of texture. The wrap comes with the soup of the day - a creamy heartwarming potato-leek soup.

To end the meal, I opted for the panna cotta with peach compote. It is beautifully presented with nice contrast of colour. It looks like a sunny-side up. The panna cotta was smooth and silky. The tartness of the lemon melded well with the sweetness of the compote. On some bites, it gives a burst of floral taste from the thyme and crunch from the pistachio. I think the dessert would be best if the pistachios were toasted to bring out their flavours.

Friendly service. Simple food with lots of flavours. Definitely revisiting this place to try out their other items.
