Ottawa - It is a bit ironic to end my food adventures in Ottawa with something that Montreal is famous for - bagels. Montreal bagels are unique, you can't find anything like this elsewhere. They are crunchy outside, soft inside, slightly sweet, and they are baked in a wood-fired oven. You can even find these bagels in Ottawa at Kettleman's Bagel. This place does more than making bagels, it is also a restaurant where you can order a bagel sandwich, bagel pizza or buy from a dozen of choices of delectable homemade cream cheese. I have to say that it is the closest you can get to a Montreal-style bagel.
