Ottawa Petit Bill's Bistro is a well-known location for the locals, known for its use of East Coast seafood fused with inspiration from French cuisine. The locals rave about their famous lobster poutine, crispy fries served with a rich creamy mascarpone cheese sauce and chunks of lobster. It was delicious, a bit heavy for lunch... but the Montrealers know who makes really good lobster poutine... Chuck Hughes of Garde-Manger. The boss will fully admit that Chuck Hughes' poutine is much better than theirs.

There are two dishes that we would HIGHLY recommend. The Vegetarian Napolean definitely blew us away, a full vegan dish consists of grilled veggies, polenta cakes, butternut squash purée with a touch of leek oil. Light, colorful, flavours and texture are perfectly balanced. The best vegan dish that I ever tasted. The bread pudding is a must order, texturally perfect, dense, buttery served with a sweet white chocolate crème anglaise. The best bread pudding that I ever had.
